Hemigenia obtusa Benth., 1848:567

Blunt-leaved hemigenia

Taxonomy & Nomenclature

"Known from four collections between 1844 and 1892; in her unpublished conspectus of Hemigenia, Barbara Rye included H. obtusa in the H. incana complex. This is difficult taxonomic terrain; its status should be considered problematic until species boundaries within that complex are resolved following future revision."

(Silcock et al., 2019:SM:1)

Conservation Status

Extinct (Humphreys et al., 2019) or taxonomically problematic (Silcock et al., 2019:SM:1)

Last record: 1879; 1892 (Silcock et al., 2019:SM:1)
