Extinct (Murphy et al., 2023:16,17; contra Humphreys et al., 2019)
Last record: April 1899 (Murphy et al., 2023:16)
Although listed as rediscovered by (Humphreys et al., 2019), and recorded from Cameroon, Congo & Gabon by (POWO, 2024), work by Dr. Martin Cheek has established that this taxon is in fact an extinct point endemic (see Murphy et al., 2023:16,17).
