Type locality: “Kria Cave, 3 km east of the village Suwiam/Mapura, northeast of the Ayamaru Lakes, Ayamaru Plateau, central Bird’s Head [= Vogelkop], Irian Jaya, Indonesia.” (Aplin et al., 1999)
