Synonym/s: Merremia calyculata Ooststr. in Blumea 3: 265 (1939)

 

The distinctiveness of D. calyculatus from D. pacifica is unresolved (Staples, 2009, 2010, 2022; Simões et al., 2020).

Last (and only) record: June 1860 (Staples, 2010; Simões et al., 2020)

 

A sterile specimen collected in 1972 may be referable to this taxon (Staples, 2010).
