Last wild record: 1968 (Ripley, 1975:42)

Rediscovered in the wild 1975 (Moran, 1978)

 

It was last recorded in the wild in 1968 (Ripley, 1975:42 [as "PoEx"]), thought to be Extinct in 1969 (Philbrick, 1972 fide Philbrick, 1980), and later considered possibly Extinct (Ripley, 1975:42 [as "PoEx"]), prior to rediscovery in 1975 (Moran, 1978).
