Last record: 14 July 1978 (Thomas & Schwartz, 1983)

IUCN RedList status: Critically Endangered (Possibly Extinct)


This species is only known from the holotype collected in 1978, and all remaining forest at the type locality no longer exists (Mayer et al. 2010). At least two searches (the latest in 1997) have failed to locate any individuals (Ibid.), and the taxon should now be considered possibly extinct.
