Conservation Status

Extinct in the Wild (cf. Bone, 2004)

 

The few extant trees are heavily managed, with active attempts to propagate the species using these last wild survivors (Bone, 2004). Flowering has not been observed since the 1970's (Tatayah, 2021b).
