Type locality: “provient de Poingi (altitude 2.700 pieds [= 2,700 feet]), a 40 milles a I'Est de Mimongo [= 40 miles east of Mimongo], dans les Monts Du Chaillu, Gabon, Afrique Equatoriale Francaise.” (Sanborn, 1953?)
