Distribution

Cundinamarca, Colombia & Ecuador

 

Treated as endemic to Ecuador where it is only known from a collection dating the the 19th century by (Navarrete & Pitman, 2003a,b), but more recent sources give its distribution as also encompassing Colombia (e.g. Hassler, 2004-2023; Murillo-P. et al., 2023; POWO, 2023), so it may have been rediscovered.
