Distribution

western slopes of Volcán Pichincha, Pichincha province, Ecuador

 

According to the IUCN RedList assessment, this species is only known from a single collection from Ecuador (Navarrete & Pitman, 2003). But other sources (e.g. Hassler, 2004-2023; Murillo-P. et al., 2023) give the distribution as also encompassing Bolivia, Colombia and Venezuela.
