Conservation Status

Rediscovered (Toledo et al., 2022)

"One example of the latter case is Connarus beyrichii, whose distribution and morphological identity remained obscure for a long period, given its probable rarity, the limited number of available specimens, their age and incomplete collection information. Thanks to modern botanical collections, C. beyrichii is now known to occur in montane formations along Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, southeast Brazil."
