Erroneously listed as Missing by (NatureServe, 2026)
There have been continuous records of the species (e.g. Pool & Hoage, 1975; Hilliard, 2001; see also Harman et al., 2022) and there are numerous research grade photographic observations of the species on iNaturalist. Thus the assignation of the species to the conservation category "GH Possibly Extinct" by NatureServe (2026) appears to have been premature at best.
