Rediscovered on 10 July 2000
Originally known only from three specimens collected on Mahé (Joannis, 1893 & 1894), it was rediscovered on Silhouette on July 10, 2000 by Justin Gerlach (Gerlach, 2000). It has since been reported by (Matyot, 2005).
