Carposina niponensis Walsingham, 1900:121

Taxonomy & Nomenclature

The taxonomic history of C. niponensis and C. sasakii is complicated. They have been synonymised in recent years (with the latter as senior), though (Nasu et al., 2010) appears to treat them as distinct taxa.
