Conservation Status
Rediscovered (see below for justification)
Listed as extinct by (Fontaine et al., 2007), but living individuals have recently been found on Bugio and Deserta Grande (Cameron et al., 2021), with the species "flourishing" on both islands (Dinarte Teixeira, pers. comm. 19 May 2022).
