Synonym/s: Oleacina paivana Pfeiffer, 1866 (original combination)
Cowie et al. (2017) erroneously put brackets around the author when using the original combination (i.e. Oleacina paivana). They also erroneously state that Régnier et al. (2009) listed the species as "EX?" (i.e. possibly extinct) but they do not list the species at all.
