Synonym/s: Helix fuscozonata Beddome, 1889; Patula fuscozonata Beddome, 1889
Considered to be a monotypic species for almost 100 years, (Solem, 1976) described a subspecies and attributed it to this taxa, which means that [i]Aaadonta fuscozonata[/i] becomes [i]A. f. fuscozonata[/i] because it is the nominate subspecies.
