Synonym/s: Leptonia brunneola S. Ito & S. Imai, Trans. Sapporo nat. Hist. Soc. 16: 48 (1940)
The replacement name Entoloma japonense has been erected because the transfer of R. brunneolus to Entoloma is prevented because of the existence of Entoloma brunneolum Hesler.
