"This species is known from only two specimens collected at a single site in the Drysdale River in the Kimberley, Western Australia in 1975 (Hutchins 1977, Allen et al. 2002, Morgan et al. 2011). Three subsequent surveys failed to locate any further specimens (Allen et al. 2002, Morgan et al. 2011, Shelley and Le Feuvre 2018)."
