Taxonomy & Nomenclature

Synonym/s: Leucichthys alpenae Koelz, 1924

 

May be taxonomically invalid (Lee et al. 1980; Todd et al. 1981; Page & Burr, 1991; Robins et al. 1991). Considered valid by other authorities (Smith, 1985; Scott & Crossman, 1998). Some of these references cannot be found in the bibliography below since they are cited by (World Conservation Monitoring Centre, 1996) but not included in that publication's bibliography.
