This taxon is a heterotypic synonym of O. semicastrata according to (Niu et al., 2023; POWO, 2024).

 

Conservation Status

Extinct (WCMC, 1998b; Baillie & Butcher, 2012:88; Albani Rocchetti et al., 2022) or possibly Rediscovered (fide Mounce et al., 2018; Humphreys et al., 2019; cf. Abeli et al., 2022b) or Invalid (synonym of O. semicastrata) (Niu et al., 2023; POWO, 2024)

IUCN RedList status: Extinct
