Taxonomy & Nomenclature

Previously considered a synonym of C. ekmanii (González Torres et al., 2016:129; Humphreys et al., 2019), which is itself now considered a synonym of C. quinquefolia (POWO, 2024).

 

Conservation Status

Invalid (synonym of C. quinquefolia) (POWO, 2024)

Was rediscovered in 1992 (Berazaín, 2009) prior to synonymisation (González Torres et al., 2016:129; Humphreys et al., 2019; POWO, 2024)
