Synonym/s: Cycas fairylakea D.Yue Wang (1996:54)
This species was described by Wang in (Wang et al., 1996), but treated as a synonym of C. taiwaniana by (Chen & Stevenson, 1999).
Conservation Status
Invalid (synonym of C. szechuanensis) (Feng et al., 2021)
IUCN RedList status: Critically Endangered
This taxon was rediscovered in 2000 (Hill, 2010), prior to its definitive synonymisation with the nominate (Feng et al., 2021).
