Pseudocyclops magnus Esterly, 1911
Taxonomy & Nomenclature
Synonym/s: Pseudocyclops latens Gurney, 1927 [Yeatman, 1975]
P. latens was considered synonymous with P. magnus by (Nicholls, 1944), but treated as distinct by (Vervoort, 1964). The rediscovery of P. magnus and the concomitant availability of new material allowed a better comparison of the two taxa, and P. latens was formally synonymised under P. magnus by (Yeatman, 1975).
