** Ride (1970:205) notes that the holotype was collected in 1923, and that a further two specimens which may belong to this species were subsequently collected. Thus the last record of the species depends upon the correct identification of these latter specimens whose year of collection is not given.

Queensland (central*), Australia

Type locality: in the vicinity of Prairie (Ride, 1970:177) / "from Prairie, central part of southern N Qld. 1400ft." (Mahoney & Walton, 1988:143)
