Conservation Status
Last record: between 1885 and 1889 (most likely 1887-1888) (Xu et al., 2021); between December 1887 and January 1889 (Fea, 1897: 391 fide Schwendinger et al., 2022)
Rediscovered on 15 November 2018 (Xu et al., 2021)
At least three collection events (1915 or earlier, 1932 or earlier, and 13 July 1982) after the original description resulted in specimens assigned to L. birmanicus, all of which have now been rejected or are indeterminate (Xu et al., 2021; Schwendinger et al., 2022).

Yadò, Kayin State (=Kayah State =Karen State), Myanmar (=Burma)

Hypodigm
Only a single type specimen, a lectotype (female) designated by (Platnick & Sedgwick, 1984).
2 males and 10 females collected by (Xu et al., 2021).
