Only ever collected twice by the Belgians (Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren, Belgium) in November 1965 and March 1967 (White et al., 2019). Targeted surveys in 2003 and 2005-2006 failed to find any individuals (Ashmole & Ashmole, 2004; Mendel et al., 2008/2013; White et al., 2019).
