Rediscovered in May 2005 by B. Schafer and M. Widdowson (Preston et al., 2010)
Subsequent to its formal rediscovery in May 2005, misidentified specimens from previous decades were uncovered showing that it had in fact been collected after 1892 after all (Preston et al., 2010).
