Synonym/s: Epioblasma phillipsi Conrad, 1836; Epioblasma phillipsii Conrad, 1836

 

Described as Epioblasma phillipsi by Conrad four years before Lea described the same species, the latter is the usually cited author of the species for an unknown reason.
