Synonym/s: Anodonta (Arnoldina) dejecta (J. Lewis, 1875)
See Graf & Cummings (2025) for a more complete taxonomic history. The Arizona population of A. dejecta was synonymized with A. californiensis by (Bequaert and Miller, 1973). The whole species was synonymized with A. californiensis by (Williams et al., 2017).
