Synonym/s: Aspilia egleri J.U.Santos in Revista Brasil. Bot. 19: 99 (1996)

 

Conservation Status

Last (and only) record: January 1947 (Bueno et al., 2025:9)

Rediscovered on: 26 November 2012 [by implication] (Almeida et al., 2015)

 

Previously known from a single specimen from Minas Gerais state collected in January 1947, a second specimen was collected in Bahia state 65 years later (Almeida et al., 2015), and was then locally rediscovered in Minas Gerais based upon a specimen collected on 29 March 2024 (Bueno et al., 2025).
