Last record (disputed): 1844 (Christenhusz & Govaerts, 2024); 1888 (Wapstra et al., 2006:71; Silcock et al., 2019:SM:4)

 

"People should also watch out for S. tasmanicus, listed as extinct in the Census (Buchanan, 2005) but not yet on the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995. It too is likely to have simply been overlooked since 1888, when it was last collected"
