Synonyms: Centaurium saxatile K.Koch in Linnaea 24: 419 (1851); Phaeopappus saxatilis Boiss. in Fl. Orient. 3: 602 (1875); Centaurea raphanina subsp. saxatilis (K.Koch) Greuter in Willdenowia 33: 55 (2003)

 

Treated as a valid subspecies Centaurea raphanina subsp. saxatilis by (Euro+Med PlantBase, 2023; contra Abeli et al., 2021), but as a synonym of C. raphanina raphanina by (Abeli et al., 2021; POWO, 2023).
