Listed as Extinct by (Bilz et al., 2011:10,43,61; Melnyk, 2011; Baillie & Butcher, 2012:88; Christenhusz & Govaerts, 2024), with a last record in the 1930's (Christenhusz & Govaerts, 2024), but around 150,000 plants exist (Perehrym, 2016; fide Abeli et al., 2021).
