Taxonomy & Nomenclature
Synonym/s: Corunastylis sp. (Raby Bay J.Elsol AQ462423); Genoplesium sp. (Raby Bay J.Elsol AQ462423); Genoplesium sp. (Raby Bay) [used by Silcock et al., 2019]
Said to differ from C. acuminatum in "size and in the column appendices being papillose rather than ciliate" (Silcock et al., 2019:SM:8), but it is treated as a synonym of that species in APNI (Australian Plant Name Index).

"Type locality habitat destroyed; other areas of similar habitat searched... Type specimen collected in 1976 - area is now a housing estate; Lui may have collected an infertile specimen in similar habitat to type collection near Alexandra Hills"
