Erroneously listed as Extinct by (Conti et al., 2005:50,274)
Treated as an extinct Sicilian endemic by (Conti et al., 2005), but also occurs in Abruzzo (Astuti et al., 2021).
Distribution
Abruzzo & Sicily, Italy (& Balkan Peninsula?)
Treated as endemic to Sicily by (Conti et al., 2005; POWO, 2024) but also definitely occurs in Abruzzo (Astuti et al., 2021). It has also been reported from the Balkan Peninsula (Ibid.).
