Rediscovered [by implication]

 

Was considered "Endangered or possibly Extinct" by (Lucas & Synge, 1978:423) who reported the Isla Beata/Island Beata population as unconfirmed. It is known to be extant today (Johnson, 1998; Zona, 2002; Visscher et al., 2020).
