Was considered Extinct in the Wild by (Dransfield & Beentje, 1995 fide Rakotoarinivo et al., 2014), but was later downlisted to Critically Endangered (Rakotoarinivo et al., 2014), implying that it was Rediscovered (in the Wild?).
