Rediscovered in 1996 (Humphreys et al., 2019)

IUCN RedList status: Endangered

 

Was considered Extinct in the Wild by (Dransfield & Beentje, 1995 fide Rakotoarinivo et al., 2014), but was later downlisted to Endangered (Rakotoarinivo et al., 2014).
