Many other localities have been reported (see Guiry, 2023), but the veracity of these is not clear as, for example, it was considered a "Taxon inquirendum" by (Ribera et al., 1992; Taskin et al., 2012) and Selam et al. (2016) imply that its taxonomic status was doubtful.
