Conservation Status

This listing is probably in error. It seems to stem from an unreferenced mention in a Wikipedia article. Alternatively, the osteological remains may have previously been assigned to the genus Porzana prior to the species' description in the related genus Gallirallus, as G. storrsolsoni (Kirchman & Steadman, 2006).
