Carposina niponensis Walsingham
Taxonomy & Nomenclature
The taxonomic history of C. niponensis and C. sasakii is complicated. They have been synonymised in recent years (with the latter as senior), though (Nasu et al., 2010) appears to treat them as distinct taxa.
Last record: 1886
Recently rediscovered (Nasu et al., 2010)
