Conservation Status

Last record: 1936

IUCN RedList status: Critically Endangered

 

Extensive surveys were conducted in 2000 and 2002 without success, and the population is likely to be less than 50 individuals if it is not already extinct (Freyhof, 2011).

Rivers Ko and Tan, Annam, central Vietnam

Only known from the type series collected in 1936 (Freyhof, 2011).
