Taxonomy & Nomenclature
Although listed as possibly extinct by (Powell & Henderson, 2012), this taxon is presumably known from insufficient material to determine whether it is a new species or not. One possible historical mention exists (Labat, 1724), however archaeological remains fall within the species B. nebulosa from Dominica and thus may be invalid (Bochaton, 2020).
