Conservation Status

According to (Ardila-Robayo et al. 2004) the species was last collected in 2000. However, (Coloma et al. 2010:35) state that the last records of this species in Colombia and Ecuador were in 12 April 1995 and 22 July 1988 respectively. At least 9 searches have been conducted, all unsuccessful (Ibid.).

 

IUCN RedList status: Critically Endangered
